1. if updates are available, the application opens a popup with a button "Update", as of mageia 5 using LXDE the button has no effect

2. if the icon states updates are available, clicking on the icon just causes to search for new updates, no update dialog (with password request) is shown.

3. right clicking on the app & choosing "update" or "search for updates" doesn't make any difference.

=> currently the app is totally broken, and at least unusable on LXDE


Currently I can't test this  for other desktops, since xguest is still broken for e.g. mate

after updating manually, the app works again. Looks like a problem with glib?
