SPEC file for vinagre enabling RDP support

By adding a BuildRequires for freerdp and adding --enable-rdp to the configure options, Vinagre can also support the RDP protocol to talk to Windows hosts.

The attached spec file is a modified version of the one included with mga5. A new package could be made available through updates.

I've enabled for Cauldron for now. This required a newer freerdp because vinagre is way newer in Cauldron. I noticed that at least that version of freerdp had support for various things that wasn't enabled. Gstreamer 1.0, some x stuff, etc.

I'm not sure if Mageia allows providing an update just for a new feature. Need to ask. Unfortunately, vinagre is already at the latest 3.14.x version.

I've been looking all over for this. Everywhere I read said Vinagre supports RDP but it was missing from the drop down menu. I thought I was going crazy but now I know why. The version in Mageia isn't packaged with that functionality. Well if it's worth anything, I'd like to second adding RDP support to vinagre.

No, it cannot be a regular update.

However: the backports repos have been opened, now.

Without knowing vinagre, I assume it is just a leaf package. If so, it would be fine to backport it:

Mageia 5 has officially reached its End of Life on December 31st, 2017 https://blog.mageia.org/en/2017/11/07/mageia-5-eol-postponed/
It only continued to get important security updates since then, because we are waiting for a big Plasma5 update in Mageia 6, that'll fix many of the Mageia 5 => 6 upgrade issues.

We regret if this request wasn't fulfilled in Mageia 5.

This bug is fixed in Mageia 6 and Cauldron, so closing this report.

Resolution: (none) => OLD
Status: NEW => RESOLVED
