Description Pana Sum 2015-08-18 21:53:23 CEST
Description of problem:
Using Mageia 5 64 bits in a Spanish language system. Typing `urpmi --help` shows the available options, but there are some mistakes in the Spanish translation:

Option --no-recommends is translated as --no se recomienda (with spaces)
Option --allow-recommends is translated as --se recomienda (with spaces)

I think that the names of the options should not be translated but kept as the originals. If they are to be translated, at least they should not contain spaces.

Last, option -P (uppercase) is changed to -p (lowercase) in the Spanish translation.

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Type urpmi --help

Hello,

I've made a revision of urpmi.po in Transifex, looking for all chains with "--". The bug report was right, so I made a few changes. Please, push the urpmi.po file.

Bye for now,
motitos

The Spanish translation in git/master is synced with Transifex now. So the problem should be fixed soon.

Thanks for your work.

We should probably create the distro/mga5 branch on git and backport the changes there too, so that they can be included in a future update to Mageia 5.
Comment 4 Thierry Vignaud 2015-08-28 10:25:03 CEST
I happen to have done this yesterday.
However Yuri didn't push the spanish fix in git...

@Yuri: I think you did run "git commit" but that you forgot to run "git push".
Please run "git pull && git rebase origin master && git push"

Do not know what has happened but I have done this. And there is a message about this commit in i18n-reports@ml.mageia.org:

Indeed you did did it, it's me who failed to read properly :-)
I've cherry-picked this change in the distro/mga5 branch.
