Description of problem:

hi,

you can refer to this bug: https://qa.mandriva.com/show_bug.cgi?id=49008

cheers,
Marcello

Reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
Comment 1 Frédéric "LpSolit" Buclin 2011-02-27 23:19:56 CET
This is really badly worded. You should say "home page" or index.cgi. profile sounds like the profiles DB table.
Comment 2 D Morgan 2011-02-27 23:24:55 CET
yes, i plan to redo the home page and add such links

=> WIP
Comment 3 Marcello Anni 2011-04-21 20:26:18 CEST
any news? we don't have neither voting system, so we can't keep trace of the bugs that we want to monitor.

If you're in CC in a bug report, you get an email for most changes in that report (you can fine tune it in https://bugs.mageia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ). So you can add yourself to CC to the bugs you're interested in (there's an "Add me to CC list" check box in each report).
Comment 5 Marcello Anni 2011-04-22 00:41:21 CEST
yes, but i don't mean see what changes happen, but i think about pinging the bug in case it is forget by everyone. for istance, this bug is opened to me but i forget about it, a user that is added to CC list noted in his list and add a new comment to "revamp" it.

in plus, it needs only to add a button that makes:

cc:e-mail adress

what disadvantages can bring in the worst case?

Did I say anything about not-adding-that-feature?
Comment 7 Marcello Anni 2011-04-22 12:35:32 CEST
in reply to comment #6:

i don't see a really costructive comment...
Comment 8 Ahmad Samir 2011-04-22 20:12:59 CEST
In comment#4 I was pointing out a fact, nothing constructive or destructive, the same goes for comment#6, in which, again, I was point out the fact that "I didn't say anything about not-adding-that-feature".
Comment 9 Marcello Anni 2011-04-22 21:23:07 CEST
ok, being a not native english speaker can bring some issues : ) about the comment 6, i've misunderstood, about comment 4 i try to change the title to better understand my proposal.

cheers,
Marcello

Setting to ASSIGNED status would be even better, if that doesn't give you problems with your workflow :)

@ Marcello
As you can see here https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=40 D Morgan is working hard on the upgrade to Bugzilla 4.0.2
That needs to be done before he can start resolving this bug.
Comment 16 Marcello Anni 2013-02-23 20:33:51 CET
is it possible to fix it now? btw, thank you dexter for the upgrade of bugzilla :)
Comment 17 Florian Hubold 2015-10-27 12:45:57 CET
Would be nice to have on the front page, but can also be easily defined as a saved search. Check e.g.

https://bugs.mageia.org/buglist.cgi?emailreporter1=1&emailcc1=1&list_id=55014&emaillongdesc1=1&emailtype1=substring&emailassigned_to1=1&query_format=advanced&bug_status=NEW&bug_status=UNCONFIRMED&bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=REOPENED&bug_status=VERIFIED&email1=doktor5000%40arcor.de

where one would only need to replace the string in &email1=doktor5000%40arcor.de to match his own mail adress and you get all bugs that are not resolved, where you are a CC list member, commenter, reporter or assignee. Save that search and you always have it shown in the footer.

If there's some internal bugzilla search variable like $myself that always expands to one's own mail adress (the person that runs the saved search) such a saved search could easily be shared with everybody and this bug would also be fixed ...

@Frederic: Do you have an idea about that?

Comment 18 Frédéric "LpSolit" Buclin 2015-10-27 14:42:59 CET
If you just want bugs you are CC'ed to, you can simply use this link:

  https://bugs.mageia.org/buglist.cgi?f1=cc&o1=equals&v1=%25user%25

When a logged in user clicks this link (you can try it here), %user% will automatically be replaced by the login name of the user.

If you want all bugs you are either the reporter, assignee, a commenter or CC'ed to, you can use this link:

  https://bugs.mageia.org/buglist.cgi?f1=reporter&f2=assigned_to&f3=cc&f4=commenter&j_top=OR&o1=equals&o2=equals&o3=equals&o4=equals&v1=%25user%25&v2=%25user%25&v3=%25user%25&v4=%25user%25

This URL would be much smaller and easier to build if Mageia was running Bugzilla 5.0. You could simply use:

  https://bugs.mageia.org/buglist.cgi?quicksearch=ALL%20reporter%2Cassignee%2Ccc%2Ccommenter%3D%25user%25

I suggest you wait for Mageia to upgrade to Bugzilla 5.0 before listing these queries on the home page, because 5.0 already has a section to display common links on this page and so it would fit nicely.
