Installs done by booting isolinux directly have no ability to include the nonfree drivers in stage 1. For example, I can do an install on a wireless laptop by booting a burned copy of boot-nonfree.iso, but I can't do it by including a grub entry that goes to isolinux directly on a cauldron install directory, e. g. title isolinux kernel (hd0,6)/cauldron/x86_64/isolinux/x86_64/vmlinuz BOOT_IMAGE=isolinux acpi=on resume=/dev/sda5 vga=791 initrd (hd0,8)/cauldron/x86_64/isolinux/x86_64/all.rdz It would be very nice to be able to do a non-free install without the intermediate step of having to burn boot-nonfree.iso to real media. Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:
Fixed in drakx-installer-images-2.28-2.mga6 there will now be a isolinux/<arch>/all-nonfree.rdz
