Description of problem:

For a few weeks the mate screensaver does not let me in after being away from keyboard (I need to go to another tty and kill it to let me in).

Now I see why:

# journalctrl |grep segafult

.... kernel: mate-screensave[4150]: segfault at 8 ip 00007f6f4913ce95 sp 00007ffd323f9530 error 6 in libgobject-2.0.so.0.4503.0[7f6f4911a000+51000]

and similar with other "ip"
