@ José Thanks for your report and sorry for the late reply. We are too short on active BugSquad members. Is this bug still valid? If so, what is the output of the following commands cat /etc/mageia-release and of rpm -qa --last | grep mga4 If the last command returns more than a few packages, then do rpm -qa --last | grep mga4 > mga4.txt and _attach_ mga4.txt instead of pasting the output in a comment. Btw, did you also see "Mageia 4" in the grub2 bootloader screen (the screen where you select the partition or install that you want to boot into)?

Marja, Sorry, I can't help any more in this case. Now I have Mageia 6 (cauldron) in that machine with nvidia card and "nokmsboot" grub2 option...
