Advisory needed. Is this just changing the version of duplicity that deja dup looks for?
CC: (none) => davidwhodgins
I don't think so. The core version of Déja dup seems to think that version 0.6.25 is version 0.6.00, so I suspect that there was a bug in the version number reading code. Jani can hopefully advice in more detail.
Oops. That should have been "advise".
Still need an advisory before the update can be pushed.

Ping this needs still advisory to be pushed as it's lies in testing when it should be pushed one month ago as update.

(In reply to Otto Leipälä from comment #7) > Ping this needs still advisory to be pushed as it's lies in testing when it > should be pushed one month ago as update. Well this update was held as there was the feedback keyword. But I guess it was put there by mistake? I don't see anything is the comments that requires further feedback regarding the update candidate.

I guess too it was just mistake as there was that dave post that only need advisory you can load it and then this can be validated.

Advisory uploaded as: ----------- Updated deja-dup package fixes parsing of duplicity version deja-dup would not parse the duplicity version properly, and issue a wrong error message about an outdated duplicity version, preventing the application from working properly. This has now been fixed. ----------- Validating.
