Assigning this package request to all packagers collectively. On a voluntary basis, one of them might want to integrate it to the distribution and maintain it for bug and security fixes.

You might also want to join the packager team to maintain this piece of software: see https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Becoming_a_Mageia_Packager

Good evening, if you were able to compile and the program works correctly, please provide .srpm instead of .spec

The src.rpm for winusb

Here's the src.rpm that you asked for.

However the menu entry doesn't give me a working gui when trying to start it.

If I run winusbgui it loads just fine.

Can you fix that perhaps?

I was talking about the start menu entry in Cinnamon.

Updated the spec file

I renamed and updated the spec file I used last time to build WinUSB (which is no longer being actively developed) and the program builds, installs and opens just fine. It also detects my USB drive correctly.

Attachment 6766 is obsolete: 0 => 1

As I don't have commit rights to Cauldron, who can push this for me?

Failed to build WoeUSB-2.2.2

Don't know how to solve this error, but I don't see any other errors besides the m4 error that might need to be patched though.

I am attempting to create the latest package for it. Any reason we are working with the older version 2.2.2 when 3.1.4 is available?

At the time of writing the last comment I guess I missed seeing that there was a new version released. Sorry.
Comment 15 Jack M 2017-12-22 08:47:33 CET
All right, it has been uploaded to cauldron.

See if it works as you intended, I am assuming you have cauldron. Also, check if any dependencies are left out.
Comment 16 Kristoffer Grundström 2019-06-30 02:23:27 CEST
Jack: Version 3.3.0 has been released. Can you please build and upload to Cauldron?

Error log file

Ping!

Can someone please push an update of 5.1.2 to Mageia 8?

I get the error explained in the attached log file when I open the current Mageia 8 version which is 3.3.1.

I haven't seen mjack since december 2017, I hope everything is well with him. Reassigning this report to all packagers collectively and CC'ing a few committers.
