Installing eclipse platform 4.4.1 for X86.64 not possible.
Gives error "An error has occurred. See the log file /home/xantippe/.eclipse/
org.eclipse.platform_793567567_linux_gtk_x86_64/configuration/1434870082725.log"
I attached the logfile.

please do ls /usr/lib64/eclipse/plugins/ and tell if there is broken links

I just tried installing eclipse in Cauldron and came up with a similar error.  There was only one broken link in the plugins:

lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root      81 Dec 26  2014 com.ibm.icu_52.1.0.v20140218.jar -> ../../../../usr/share/java/icu4j-eclipse/plugins/com.ibm.icu_52.1.0.v20140218.jar

My mistake.  I could install Eclipse in Cauldron, but it crashes when run.  Looking closer at the attached logfile, I have a different bug.

eclipse, eclipse-ecf and eclipse-emf have been rebuilded against current mga5 java stack today.

So what happens now if you install new updated packages from mga5/Core/Updates_testing repo?
