Reported on qa-d that sound does work once the installation completes. Any idea about this Thierry? The email address being show sounds like maybe an l10n issue, CC'ing Marc to check.

The first part of this is the same problem as bug 15959 - something is creating bogus entries in the modules.description file: % grep snd-intel /lib/modules/3.19.8-desktop-2.mga5/modules.description snd-intel8x0m Intel 82801AA,82901AB,i810,i820,i830,i840,i845,MX440; SiS 7013; NVidia MCP/2/2S/3 modems snd-intel8x0 Intel 82801AA,82901t/rpmbuild/BUILDROOT/kernel-3.19.8-2.mga5.x86_64/lib/modules/3.19.8-desktop-2.mga5/./kernel/drivers/media/dvb-frontends/stv0900.ko.xz snd-intel8x0 ST STV0900 frontend

Confirmed reproducible when sound card is AC'97 based chip. Both virtualbox and real hardware.
Please tell me why there's a partial email in modules.description: [user@localhost 3.19.8-desktop586-2.mga5]$ grep snd-intel modules.description snd-intel8x0 Daniel Mack <linux@zonque Microchip CAP11XX driver snd-intel8x0m Intel 82801AA,82901AB,i810,i820,i830,i840,i845,MX440; SiS 7013; NVidia MCP/2/2S/3 modems

This came from drivers/input/keyboard/cap11xx.c See http://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/plain/drivers/input/keyboard/cap11xx.c I wonder how a builtin driver can ends BTW I don't see this on my installed system so sg must regenerates modules.description. BTW the way it's built in kernel.spec is bogus. Testing with xargs -P4 results in garbaged output from times to times. eg see this mixed line: rtc-r9701 r9701b/modules/3.19.8-desktop-2.mga5/./kernel/sound/pci/snd-intel8x0m.ko.xz
Actually I can see it with the i586 build, in lib/modules/3.19.8-desktop586-2.mga5/modules.description

Fixed in round 8(tested in virtualbox, might better confirm it in real hardware).
Mass-reassigning all bugs with "kernel" in the Source RPM field that are assigned to tmb, to the kernel packagers group, because tmb is currently MIA.
