Description David Walser 2015-05-22 18:55:07 CEST
Before the Mageia 5 tree is finally branched, as usual there are some last packages that need to be removed.

firefox-beta is on that list as always.

ipv6calc is a non-buildable leaf package. It won't be put in task-obsolete as current users can still use the Mageia 4 package for now if they upgrade. Pascal is planning to update ipv6calc to a buildable version and that can go back into Mageia 5 as an update at a later time.

Finally, as was discussed on the mailing list, there is opera to be dropped from the nonfree repository:
https://ml.mageia.org/l/arc/dev/2015-05/msg00399.html

The current Opera package is an older generation of Opera which is no longer maintained upstream. It's also not going in task-obsolete as users can continue to use the Mageia 4 package for now. It may be replaced in the future by the current generation of Opera, or perhaps Vivaldi.
