Description of problem: While fiddling around with the Intell Compute Stick with a MicroSD inserted I discovered that I could NOT create an EFI partition on /mmcblck1 because there was already an EFI partition on /mmcblck0, namely the ubuntu one. However, if I first try to overwrite the protected one on /mmcblck0 it works fine to create an EFI partition on /mccblck1. And afterwards I kan boot either ubuntu or mageia5. IIRC, having more than one EFI partition will not be supported for Mageia 5, but is planned for Mageia 6

You just need to remove the mount point from Ubuntu ESP in custom partitionning before adding a new one...
