Description Anderson Carvalho 2015-05-02 22:23:01 CEST
A light Firefox edition. Many components are slimmed down. So it can start faster and use less memory. By default, Light can run along with official firefox. Both x86 and x64 builds are available.

For those who need a minimalist browser, but with the power of firefox, then the Light is a solution to consider.

Full compatibility with firefox addons

Assigning this package request to all packagers collectively. On a voluntary basis, one of them might want to integrate it to the distribution and maintain it for bug and security fixes.

You might also want to join the packager team to maintain this piece of software: see https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Becoming_a_Mageia_Packager

There has been no update since 2016, meaning that new HTML5 features and security issues are not addressed -> WONTFIX.
