This is not an installer bug
Component: Installer => RPM PackagesSource RPM: mageia-5-rc-x86-dvd (20/4/2015) => task-xfce mageia-5-rc-x86-dvd (20/4/2015)
In mga5 pnmixer is used as a default mixer app instead of xfce4-mixer which was default in mga4. Technically pnmixer doesn't obsolete xfce4-mixer nor conflict with it and nothing prevents them being installed at the same time so I don't like to add Conflicts/Obsoletes. You'll have to urpme or disable one or the other from autostarting. We probably should drop a note about this to mga5 errata.
