Description of problem: During upgrade from mga4.1 to mga5 get message when installing nvidia proprietary driver Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): mageia-5-rc-x86-dvd (20/4/2015) - XFCE upgrade How reproducible: thrown during nvidia driver install Steps to Reproduce: 1. Mga4.1 to mga5 upgrade 2. Get message to install video driver (say yes) 3. It runs for awhile then throws the following message "ERROR: 'script' failed for gnome.icon-theme-3.10.0-2.mga4" I click okay and system finishes the upgrade. Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:

Already fixed: http://advisories.mageia.org/MGAA-2015-0017.html You need to update your Mageia 4 system before upgrading it.

ok - sorry for the distraction. Yup - just grabbed the 4.1 and installed, no patches.
Physical Hardware I ran the updates on MGA4.1 and then ran MGA5 upgrade confirmed you are correct, this was fixed in a patch.
We should probably add in the release notes (if it's not already there) that before upgrading to Mageia 5, users should ensure that they updated their Mageia 4 system completely.
