LibreCAD is a fork on QCAD, and recent improvments have made it a much more useable system.
Technical CAD drawing has been one thing that I do, this has required me to boot into Windows to use AutoCAD. Although LibreCAD does not match the features on AutoCAD for the times when I need to use a CAD package on my home PC it meets most my needs.

Sorry, Just found the package, either you guys are lightning fast or I can't use the search facility in the software management tool.
