While running checksetup.pl from Bugzilla, DBD::mysql fails with this error message: /usr/bin/perl: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.12.3/i386-linux-thread-multi/auto/DBD/mysql/mysql.so: undefined symbol: is_prefix It looks like this error also affects Mandriva Cooker (2011.0), see https://qa.mandriva.com/show_bug.cgi?id=62653 guillomovitch proposed a fix there. It would be great to offer the fix for Mageia too.
tks, i will fix and push in mageia updates

Maybe we should also review (for cauldron) also the use of a specific libmysql.version & use the one provided by upstream ?

Hum should we add a subrel or simply increase mkrel for update?
Add a subrel. (and if updating to a whole new version of a package, make %mkrel 0, and bump subrel), not sure if the page in the mdv bugzilla explaining that process has been imported or not yet...
Tested here on a Mageia server. Previous mysql prevented to upgrade Sympa. This is now solved
