Description of problem: After updating to lxde-common-0.99.0-6.mga5 in a VM install (x86_64) of LXDE Mga5-RC the panel no longer opens on the desktop. Running: lxpanel --profile LXDE Starts it. I don't understand the reasoning, but something broke this in the last two commits. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Hi, I think your file $HOME/.config/lxsession/LXDE/autostart still contains "@mylxpanel.sh". If you delete this file, it will be regenerated with the content of the file /etc/xdg/lxsession/LXDE/autostart. Regards, Nico.
Hi, Moreover the problem only occurs when the file $HOME/.config/lxsession/LXDE/autostart has been created after Mga5b2 and does not affect previous versions, like Mga4, for example. Regards, Nico.

OK yes that seems to be it. Renaming $HOME/.config/lxsession/LXDE/autostart and allowing it to re-create fixes it. (it did contain "@mylxpanel.sh") Thanks - I tend to use LXDE for boot tests as it's fairly light, and just happened across this while doing other things. Glad it's not a showstopper :) Closing as invalid.
