Created attachment 6002 [details] Snapshot of the partition window During installation from liveDVD gnome x64, the character set used in partition screen does not display correctly accentuated french characters
So MS supports accents in labels... Is that NTFS or FAT32?

Is it an installer bug or a diskdrake bug? I'd say diskdrake, correct me if I was wrong.

Well, they both use the same shared code... According to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GUID_Partition_Table#Partition_entries, we can trust partition labels to be always UTF-16. @Olivier: could you attach get your /root/drakx/report.bug.xz file? Thanks

I'm wrong as we don't read partition labels, just the fs labels.
Is this bug still valid?
