Description of problem: Test laptop: NVIDIA GEforce 870 card + proprietary driver as automatically installed by Mageia.EFI install, i7CPU, When character install finishes and display changes to GUI, the display shows a large grey square to the left, and the language selector screen to the right. The whole thing looks bad and could do with a tidy-up before general availability. Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:

Vladmir, can you do the following: 1) attach a USB key, 2) rerun the installer 3) then go to console (alt+ctrl+f2) 4) type the "bug" command 5) attach (not paste) the report.bug file found on the usb key to this bug report Thomas, the installer only supports 640x486, 800x600 or 1024x768. Why do we end on such a high resolution on some UEFI machines?

Created attachment 5985 [details] report.bug Display res was 1080 x 1920. I aborted out of the install soon after the language selection to keep the report to a manageable size.

Thomas, the bug report is in comment 4 of Bug 15410 above. I can do it again, but it will take me a little more time to get to it.
