Yeah, seems a lot of hardware is not reading the isos according to spec, so for now you can create a FAT32 usb stick, label it MGALIVE and copy the contents from the iso to the stick and boot from that.

Summary: UEFI-Install does not work => UEFI-Install does not work (failed to find "MGAlive")
Should be fixed now that we use dd to create UEFI sticks, isn't it?

Is this bug about issues booting from DVD or from USB? If it's from DVD, we should probably add an entry in the Errata.
This bug only appears on amd grafik systems, nvidia is o.K.
Could you please reply to comment #3?

This one should be fixed since we dont use the "MGALIVE" labeled usb sticks anymore
(In reply to Thomas Backlund from comment #7) > This one should be fixed since we dont use the "MGALIVE" labeled usb sticks > anymore Hartmut, what version have you tested with? Mageia 5 RC? Do you have access to QA Team's pre-release ISOs, which should work now?
to #8: I have tested from mageia 5 alpa to beta and RC, do not have accesss to prerelease ISOs. Btw.: on a machine with nvidia-graphic all versions were o.k. Mageia 5 RC on a machine with Radeon HD 6750 was installed from the ISO called "Mageia-5-RC-x86_64-DVD.iso" without any problems. All LiveDVDs stop on booting. I think because of AMD-driver?
