Summary: UEFI install from KDE4-LiveDVD-x86_64 desktop fails => UEFI install from KDE5-LiveDVD-x86_64 desktop fails
The error come from "EFI\BOOT\grub.cfg" in ISO, all entries have the same mistake : " menuentry 'Boot Mageia 5 (Cauldron) Live' { linux /boot/vmlinuz root=mgalive:LABEL=Mageia-5-KDE4-LiveDVD quiet rd.luks=0 rd.lvm=0 rd.md=0 rd.dm=0 initrd /boot/cdrom/inited.gz } " On the initrd line replace 'inited.gz' --> "initrd /boot/cdrom/initrd.gz" When I edit the line in grub menu and F10, the DVD boot correctly. Please update "grub.cfg" file to solve the problem.

Well spotted Stephane, it seems to be a typo then. Assigning to Thomas.
