Description of problem: When you have multiple sound devices the 'Device Preference' screen is supposed to allow you to set the priority of each card. Instead I get 2 odd icons labeled pulse and alsa. Because of this you cannot assign the active audio card and the sound won't work. The installed audio cards are displayed correctly in the 'Audio Hardware Setup' screen and have sound when tested. This exact hardware worked on Mageia 4. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Mageia 5 beta 1 and beta 2 How reproducible: Hover over the volume icon and select 'Audio Setup' from the menu. This snapshot shows the 'Audio Hardware Setup' screen with the cards displayed correctly: ftp://ftp.rivergorgesolutions.net/repo/snapshot1.png This one shows the 'Device Preference' screen with the odd icons where the audio cards should be: ftp://ftp.rivergorgesolutions.net/repo/snapshot2.png I'm classifying it as major since a regression that makes the audio unusable also makes the distro unusable to most people. Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:
