Description Gilles Allard 2015-01-21 16:24:25 CET
Description of problem:
The Dell Precision M4800 comes with 2 pointing devices (a touchpad and a pointing stick, called "track stick" by Dell).

During install, the touchpad do not work but the pointing stick do.

For users accustomed to touchpads, installing using the pointing stick is not trivial. Would be better if both drivers were activated.

Touchpad works fine after installation.

The mga4 tree is frozen, meaning the installer won't be updated.
Can you try mga5 beta3?
I think this issue is fixed.

Closing as probably fixed since the original reporter hasn't answered to comment #1 and tv thinks it's fixed.

Please reopen if it's still valid in Mageia 5 RC or later.
