The docteam leaders agree with the following request: If that is possible without giving him full sysadmin rights for all of mageia.org, then please give diogenese (William Murphy) full admin rights for our wiki. The word "full" is added, because this is about more rights than were given to me and obgr_seneca when bug 5039 was solved. We need someone to change the Documentation link in the left panel of the wiki, so that it directs to the new Documentation page instead of to the Documentation category, to replace the "About" link in the footer and to correct a typo in the footer William has admin experience with the wiki, tested mediawiki updates many times and runs his own mediawiki instance.
Summary: please give diogenese admin rights on our wiki => please give diogenese full admin rights on our wiki
I was wrong about the example I gave, that can be done with the rights I have. However, it is impossible for me to change user rights here https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Special:UserRights And it would still be good to have some wiki gurus (so not me) with such rights. I don't see a wiki group here http://people.mageia.org/g/ So I guess the wiki rights aren't somehow done in ldap CC'ing obgr_seneca, who'll be back soon

It's called a bureaucrat in MediaWiki, and we only have one, who is missing. https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Special:ListUsers/bureaucrat
Summary: please give diogenese full admin rights on our wiki => please give diogenese and obgr_seneca _bureaucrat_ rights on our wiki
(obgr_seneca's wiki nick is obgr, because the wiki chokes on underscores in nicks)
Summary: please give diogenese and obgr_seneca _bureaucrat_ rights on our wiki => please give diogenese and obgr _bureaucrat_ rights on our wiki
