At the completion of the live installation of Mageia-5-beta2-LiveDVD-KDE4-i586-DVD Sat Jan 10 14:30:00 CET 2015, after removal of media and either <enter> or < Ctrl+j> are pressed, multiple lines of text reporting "blk_update_request i/o error dev sro" and 
"squashfs error, unable to read page" or 
"squashfs error, unable to read fragment cache entry"

hard reboot is required
