Mageia 4 or 5 burned with USB or DVD with different tools was not succesful during the installation. All bios settings were fine for EFI install (boot secure off and fast boot off) My pc: Asus n56vb intel i7 ivy bridge, nvidia gt740m, GPT disk, UEFI. With liveCD (1,6gb): after selecting the USB from boot menu, I have this message: dracut warning: could not boot. dracut warning: /dev/disk/by-label/Mageia-5-beta1-KDE4-LiveDVD does not exist dracut warning: /live/union does not exist With the InstallationDvd Mageia 4 (3,4gb): after selecting the dvd media in boot menu, it reaches a primitive menu, but there is a display problem of the GUI because is black for 80%. In the left corners it says how to use the menu:tab - alt tab I tried for one day everything I could. Where is the problem? Thx and good luck for you all! Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:

This should be solved in Mageia 5 final, I think. Can you test?
Installer and Release bugs should always be set to cauldron, because once the isos for a stable version have been created, they cannot be changed. This bug was filed very long ago, for Mageia 4. Was this bug still valid for Mageia 5? (If so, please do _not_ set the version to "5". Only asking because if it was still valid for Mageia 5, that then we'll know we'll have to pay attention to this issue when testing the 6 alpha's and later). Please close this bug report if the problem was solved in Mageia 5hhhh
