Elevating to release blocker so it won't be forgotten for Mga5.

Priority: High => release_blocker

This should now be fixed with mageia-theme-1.5.0.39-1.mga5, can you confirm?

Rebooting after update which installed these this morning changed nothing:

mageia-theme-Default-screensaver-1.5.0.39-1.mga5.noarch Sat 10 Jan 2015 10:44:09 GMT
menu-messages-1-2.mga5.noarch                 Sat 10 Jan 2015 10:44:08 GMT
mageia-theme-kde-background-1.5.0.39-1.mga5.noarch Sat 10 Jan 2015 10:44:08 GMT
mageia-theme-Default-1.5.0.39-1.mga5.noarch   Sat 10 Jan 2015 10:44:08 GMT
mageia-theme-common-1.5.0.39-1.mga5.noarch    Sat 10 Jan 2015 10:44:07 GMT

Is there another package to come or is there some .rpmnew that needs installing?
I saw similar with the desktop background - I had to manually find it and change it to the new version, simply updating did not change it.
Comment 6 Rémi Verschelde 2015-01-10 14:26:13 CET
The bug from comment 0 is solved, but there seems to be an issue with the %posttrans in mageia-theme-Default that does not regenerate the initrd, therefore Barry had the issue in comment 5. I'll open another bug report for this.

Status: NEW => RESOLVED
