Description of problem: Until 5beta2 build 2 all is well. When build 3 introduces new graphics (if there is a link, I do not know), I have a small bug in summary: bootloader: The drop down menu which allows one to choose between grub 2, grub graphical etcetera does not have an arrow anymore, to prove that some other choices are hidden below the one shown as default. This is actually all the way through the installer, the arrows which denote a drop down menu are missing. The overall appearance has changed from what it was previously though, and in a good way.

@marja: I dont understand your comment at all: this was introduced by the new graphics un 5beta2 build 2. Every time before that it was okay on my machine, so the 'duplicate' character appears wrong to me.

"different graphical item ?" it's always an arrow "different screen ?" and ? issue is general "different releases ?" no it's still cauldron
I beg to duffer the older one was a set if buttons displaying a picture (which happen to be up and diwn arrows, but could have been words). The newer bug is a drop down nenu not displaying the character like sugn " < " on the side of the menu choices. To me quite different. The up down arrows are related to the various bootloader entries, like "linux", "failsafe", existing OS'es. The drop down menu in the *previous* screen when choosing between grub2, grub graphical, grub textual and lilo. Different. The older bug has been there for months, 5alpha or earliet. The newer one appeared only this week with 5beta2 build 2. Those are a lot if differences, I guess :)))
Created attachment 5742 [details] 5beta1 screenshot of the issue (dating November 29th 2014) For me, this arrow was already missing since longer ago (see attached 5beta1 screenshot from a 64bits install), that's why I took it to be a duplicate of bug 13673. Is it possible that it occurring depends on whether vesa or fbdev is used during install, or on graphic card, or ....?
