Description Len Lawrence 2014-12-14 15:24:41 CET
Description of problem:
Attempted installation on Lenovo Ideapad - 2 USB3.0 sockets, 1 USB2.0 socket

Default USB use: wireless mouse adapter in USB2, ISO stick in USB3

Initial screen appears on boot from USB
Install selected but cannot find disk in DVD drive
Tried "other" but USB was not listed
Restarted the whole process with USB3.0 drive in USB2.0 socket. Mouse adapter not recognized in USB3.0 slot so had to fall back to touchpad. Installation then proceeded up to the mesa packages with the ~ bug.

As a POC went back to mga4. This installed fine from USB3 stick in USB3 socket.

No idea which software component/s is/are involved here.

Mageia 5 beta2 x86_64 DVD ISO

How reproducible:

Thomas we need to sync kernel/list_modules.pm with 3.18 then upload new:
- drakx-installer-binaries (for knowing new modules)
- drakx-installer-images (for including new modules)
