I had to use mondorestore to bring back my system to a point. I am not able to update my system till this is fixed. How to reproduce: I tried to update the mirror list using Mageia control center drakrpm-edit-media but that is what seems to cause the problem or it just did not help the problem. It seems to be that this mirror rsync://mirror.pw/mageia/distrib/4/i586/media/core/updates is the problem. It may be that I do not have a good understanding of the mirrors. Should I use a different mirror and not use the automatic update in MCC? Can you point me to some info on the mirrors so that I can learn more about them in detail? As a wordaround you can add manually another mirror, sysadmin, time to remove mirror (there are other, see pascal page)
It seems that offending mirror (mirror.pw) was removed some time ago. Please reopen if needed.
