Description of problem: Open terminology terminal (yes, it displays ugly fonts). Try to change the font by clicking on the right mouse button, then settings, then select any of the AxB fonts or Terminus 12, 13 etc... fonts; nothing happens. This bug has been triggered by freetype2-2.5.4-1.mga5 recently pushed on Cauldron and which provides: libfreetype.so.6.11.3* Terminology was working fine using the previous freetype2 version 2.5.3 which was providing libfreetype.so.6.11.2*. Rebuilding terminology does not fix the pb; the break is from another package required from terminology (and certainly affects other yet-to-determined progs). Cheers, Chris. The 6.11.2 to 6.11.3 change should mean that the SONAME did *not* change, so binary compatibility shouldn't be an issue, so nothing should need to be rebuilt. This sounds like a plain bug, reporting upstream might be your best bet.

you mean to freetype upstream?
Yes. They use GNU Savannah as their bug tracker: http://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?group=freetype
Oh, I see you already found it :o) http://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?43806
:) yes, sorry my question was sort of stupid, I just understood afterwards what you meant. So, that was indeed upstream freetype :)
I applied some upstream patches on pcf fonts. The issue is fixed in 2.5.4-2.mga5. cheers.
