Description of problem: qttranslations5 is needed for qt-creator localization, but is not pulled during the installation. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): qt-creator-3.0.0-1.4.mga4 Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:
Reproduced, and confirmed. After installating qttranslations5 qt-creator starts in german. Then, I wonder if not all applications built against Qt5 should require this, as it would be overkill to add qttranslations5 to every package that requires Qt5. $ urpmq --whatrequires qttranslations5 on Mageia 4 confirms that - this package is only required by itself. On cauldron, it's not much better, though: $ urpmq --whatrequires qttranslations5 qttools5 qttools5-assistant qttools5-designer qttranslations5 @Nicolas: What's your opinion on this? Can qttranslations5 be automatically required via some core Qt5 package, as it seems essential for Qt5 apps to display localised contents? On a related note, it would be helpful if our KDE packaging policy¹ in the wiki could be amended by some Qt-related sections. 1: https://wiki.mageia.org/en/KDE4_packaging_policy
