Do you maybe still have any normal users on your system with a UID < 1000 ? I thought this problem was already fixed (but then, I don't have UIDs < 1000) For me, MinShowUID in a cauldron that was last updated last night (except for task-obsolete and some java packages) /usr/share/config/kdm/kdmrc is 1000

bug resolved, that's a script of mine which modify kdmrc, so the bug is mine. Sorry.
