Look at bug 14268. I'm running VMware Workstation 10 on Mageia 4 with the latest updates. In VMware Workstation I'm running Mageia 5 Alpha 2. It's looks like bug 14268 but no errormessage. There is nothing to update. The problem begun when I updated to kernel 17.3.4-server-1. The problem is also when I use kernel 17.3.3-server The problem does not exist i VirtualBox. In VirtualBox the kernel is 3.17.4-desktop. Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:
Just discover that the problem have to do with that the CD Core Release and CD Nonfree release was marked for checking. When I unmarked them it is possible to update. You may change the priority to minor.
What do you mean by "marked for checking"? Were they tagged as update media? Or were they just enabled?

I guess urpmi.update was blocking trying to access a missing CD
