Description of problem:
modem-manager-gui works in Mageia if Mageia will be with according Fedora for modemmanager.
modem-manager-gui could not run modemmanager service.
I asked author, he tested Mageia and wrote, that we should enable modemmanager service by default with according Fedora: http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/cgit/ModemManager.git/tree/ModemManager.spec?id=4ebba4a8339fc2699fbfd26c803ac1d4df9296e8
