This is the best software for monitoring APC brand uninterrupted power supply devices.
Just adding a reminder on this one. It is a simple import and rebuild from current Cooker/MDV2011. There is an obsolete line from the spec than can be removed: perl -pi -e 's|\@/sbin/chkconfig|\#\@/sbin/chkconfig|' platforms/mandrake/Makefile.in
Version: Cauldron => 1
@ David You don't happen to have enough time to become a Mageia packager ;) ? http://www.mageia.org/wiki/doku.php?id=packages_mentoring I'm afraid we're a bit short on them. Do you mind putting the upstream link to the package in the URL: field of this bug report?

Marja, Thank you so much for the work you've been doing in the Bugzilla. Bug triaging is another job projects like this could always use more people with, and it's nice to finally get a response on these bugs. As far as becoming a packager, it's funny you should ask. I've been meaning to do that for a few months now. If it wasn't for getting hit by a hurricane and losing power for a week and how that set me back I probably would have done it by now. Soon I should have a little bit of time at work that I can devote to it, so I definitely hope to be packaging away by the end of the year. I've been a packager for Mandriva before, so I'm comfortable doing that. This package (apcupsd) is actually one I wouldn't mind looking after as well, as I've contributed a number of patches to it in the past and been on its mailing list for ten years. I don't mind answering any questions you might have or adding the URLs to these bugs, but note that when it comes to these package requests for packages that already exist in Mandriva, it is really not necessary. All of that information is already available in the existing SPEC for some packager to pick up and run with. You can find the SPECs and other source files for Mandriva packages in their SVN: http://svn.mandriva.com/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi/packages/cooker/

(In reply to comment #3) Sorry to hear about the hurricane, I hope you and your loved ones recovered well from it. > Soon I should have a little bit of time at work that I can devote to > it, so I definitely hope to be packaging away by the end of the year. In the SVN, you generally click the package you want, then click current, find the source file you want (usually the SPEC file), and then click on the revision number to get the actual source file. As you noted, you can also see change log entries and diffs to previous revision to see what recent changes have been made. BTW, Mageia also has this available for its packages: http://svnweb.mageia.org/packages/
@ David Thanks a lot for taking the time to explain :) I hadn't noticed it was possible to click on the revision number. Thanks for the link, too, I added it to my bookmarks now
