The current version of texstudio in mga 5 beta 1 is 2.8.2. There is a version 2.8.6 available. Please update if possible

TeXstudio 2.12.6 is available. Please update it for Mageia 6, or fix TeXstudio to stop reporting that a new version is available every time we open it.

Fixed now on Cauldron disabling auto-update-check box!

And also on mga6 updating texstudio to the latest 2.12.6 release and disabling auto-update-check box!

No installation issues.
I can confirm that automatic updates is disabled. I could open a few .tex files I have laying around, looks good.
