These are listing both i586 and x86_64 mirrors. *.i586.list should list i586 mirrors only and reciprocally for x86_64.

It's also providing empty: version=,arch=,

Nanar have fixed 

http://mirrors.mageia.org/api/mageia.{version}.{arch}.list

so it works for version 1

so it can be symlinked/duplicated to 

http://mirrors.mageia.org/api/{version}.{arch}.list
