You need to configure GTK font as mcc is in GTK on not in QT (kde)

KDE appears to be the default environment, so there is a problem.

Alternatives include;
make Gnome the default,
install the Gnome configuration application with KDE,
allow the KDE setup application to write a .gtkrc file
(with a warning about KDE only desktops)
major work on MCC,
just say, "it doesn't work".

There are probably more that I have not thought of.
