When gdm is selected as the display manager and the Cinnamon desktop is being used, a warning message like this: Nov 11 20:32:02 wotan /etc/X11/gdm/Xsession[2151]: Window manager warning: Log level 8: Source ID 18086 was not found when attempting to remove it is written to the journal at regular intervals - approximately twice a second. This can be worked round by using the LightDM display manager. Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:

GDM is just logging this. It comes from the window manager. Basically the mutter fork (don't know the name).
