Description of problem: I suspect after installation of the 3.17.2 kernel I was left with an unbootable default kernel (I could revert to 3.17.1 fortunately). I was dropped to a debug shell and will attach the rdosreport debug log. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 3.17.2 Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:

By the way, I've configured my system with grub2 and btrfs.

Still not booting with kernel-desktop-3.17.2-4.mga5-1-1.mga5 :(
Additional problems with kernel-desktop-3.17.3-1.mga5-1-1.mga5! Now I also get "Buffer I/O error on device sr0, logical block 0" errors on the console before booting fails. With 3.17.1, still everything works.

(In reply to Reinout van Schouwen from comment #4) "Buffer I/O error on device sr0, logical block 0" False alarm. Turns out that this is just about the presence of an audio CD in the optical drive. |:(
Still having this problem! Any suggestions?
Is this problem still present in latest cauldron?
