For some time now, whenever I define a wireless connection in NetworkManager as "allow all users to use this connection" (what used to be "system-level connection") and get the expected prompt for the root password, I also get a kwallet prompt for my kwallet password. I don't use kwallet, so I just click "Cancel" and it goes away. Except that lately it doesn't. If I click "Cancel", it closes and immediately reopens. My first thought was that NM had changed and was re-prompting. But killing the kwallet process stops the loop with no complaints from NM, and KDE just underwent a major upgrade, so I'll start with the finger pointing at KDE. I can't swear that this hasn't been happening for some time, because the cauldron network install has been broken (for one reason or another) for several months, and the only time I normally need to define a wireless connection is when I do a cauldron laptop install. However, after a recent cauldron update (within the last week), my laptop wireless interface started coming up inactive, although it would activate immediately if I opened NM and told it to connect. When I opened the Edit Connection dialog, I noticed that the "system" property had been turned off. When I turned it back on, I got the kwallet loop described above. Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:
Does this still happen in latest cauldron? (I suppose it does)

No, now the prompt comes up once and can be dismissed. Closing.
