There is a new version of lxsession (http://sourceforge.net/projects/lxde/files/LXSession%20%28session%20manager%29/LXSession%200.5.x/lxsession-0.5.0.tar.xz/download). Could you please update cauldron to this version ?

With this new version, lxpolkit is automatically started so mate-polkit is no more needed.
