On trying to log into Cauldron (installed from the Dual DVD, Xfce Desktop), my .Xauthority is always owned by root.root, and logging in can't proceed. Today, I was able to log in. Yesterday, I may have installed a new kernel. My memory is like a sieve, but I recall installing a new kernel-nvidia.
