Assigning to you for now Thierry. IIUC the last revision that you pushed of e2fsprogs would have fixed the bug, but we'll have to make sure when testing it in Mageia 5 beta1's installer in a couple of weeks.

Or just test with boot.iso, as that will use latest stage2 + e2fsprogs

that has nothing to do with installer but with missing versionated requires which have probably ended in: - updated e2fsprog - updated kernel => dracut generates an initrd with new e2fsprogs but old lib64ext2fs2 - updated lib64ext2fs2
