Description Magnus Rasche 2011-05-22 23:19:26 CEST
Description of problem:
Upgrade from mdv 2010.1 with plf and proprietary Nvidia was ok.
Finished with update system, but no update happens.

During reboot system tries to build dkms with mdv package.
This went to an error, but no there was a popup, that said no proprietry driver build, so system changed to nouveau, very good!

CD-Rom is still activ in repos, not good.

mdv and plf packages are in the attachements

incl. tainted repos
Comment 5 Ahmad Samir 2011-06-16 21:40:32 CEST
mdv list, looks like mostly libs, --auto-orphans may take care of them (be careful when using --auto-orphans).

For PLF:
lib64x264_94-0.94-0.20100504.1plf2010.1 in tainted
codeina-0.10.7-1plf2010.1 not sure it'll be imported (mageia has no affiliation with Fluendo)
lib64faac0-1.28-3plf2010.0 faac is a no-go (c.f. the discussion on the -dev ML)
transcode-1.1.5-4plf2010.1 couldn't find it
lib64opal3.6.6-plugins-3.6.6-8plf2010.1 should land in tainted soon

Thanks, tommorow I will close the bug. Ok?

If someone needs transcode, I think he will file bug.
