Description Jan Merta 2011-05-22 20:02:24 CEST
Gnome-system-monitor shows 50% cpu usage while no application is running, only standard startup applications (tracker is disabled) even after 20 min or so. Gnome-system-monitor shows 0% cpu ussage at all processes (except gnome-system monitor itself consuming 4 - 22 %. It seems to be real cpu ussage, because I can hear fan running fast nearly all the time.

System:
Mageia RC1 with Gnome
Comment 1 Ahmad Samir 2011-06-16 21:32:55 CEST
That's gnome-system-monitor itself eating 50% CPU? or some other process?

Comment 2 Jan Merta 2011-06-18 21:37:26 CEST
Gnome system monitor is eating 4 - 22 % and other processes 0 %, but gnome system monitor shows 50 % CPU usage. It helped to logout and login but only untill new boot.
I installed Mageia 1 final version and it seems to be ok now.
