This bug should be fixed with Mageia RC1, exactly since mageia-kde4-config-1-3 (15/05/2011). Did you have some files suffixed by .MdvToMga in $HOME/.kde4/share/config? ls -l ~/.kde4/share/config/*.MdvToMga If you have a file $HOME/.kde4/share/config/kickoffrc.MdvToMga, please, could you add it in attachment of this bug report. If you don't have files suffixed by .MdvToMga in $HOME/.kde4/share/config, you could try this command in

sorry, I accidently send the previous reply too quickly. so you could try this command in console: kwriteconfig --group "Mageia" --key "MdvMigrate" --type "bool" 0 then logout from the session, and login again. I hope it should be fixed. regards, Luc
